Do you need to plan a meeting? The OfficeX Schedule allows you to submit and review schedules on a folder by
folder basis.
The folder concept of schedules allows you not only to maintain
multiple private schedules distinctly but it also enables users to share their
schedules with other users so that entire groups can schedule cooperatively.
A convenient private "to do" list is also included in the schedule section.

The Schedule section of OfficeX allows you to enter personal or group schedules in a
visual calendar interface. You can share your schedules by setting appropriate
permissions on folders. There is also provision in this section for a simple To Do list.
The following screen image shows what the Schedule Section of OfficeX looks like:
The Schedule provides the following features:
- Ability to set up events from meetings and appointments to birthdays and holidays.
- Events have range capability.
- Notification of events at a specified time interval.
Setting up an event is easy:
- Simply fill in the date and time intervals.
- Hit SUBMIT, and your event is stored.
The concepts of folders and documents extends even to the Schedule section of
OfficeX in that every schedule entry is treated as another document in OfficeX. This
proves to be a very powerful method of identifying schedules because then, as with
other documents in OfficeX , you can place schedule entries in multiple private or public
folders, you can drag and drop schedule entries between folders, and you can even
send schedule entries as attachments in envelopes to other users.
Sharing schedule entries by way of public folders is particularly convenient for entire
groups of users to organize and view one single group schedule. They can submit their
own schedules in that group schedule or review the rest of the group’s schedule when
needed.
Having shared folders for schedules also makes it very easy to expose your personal
schedule to one or more users by simply adding that user to the folder’s permission list
(please refer to the folders and permissions section of OfficeX for more information).
You can also define multiple private folders for your own personal schedules. For
example, you could define a private schedule for your business itinerary, as well as a
schedule for your family matters.
Clicking on any schedule entry in the Schedule section will show you the date on the
calendar shown to the right. By clicking on any calendar date, OfficeX will
automatically show you any scheduled events for that particular date. You can click on
the "Today’s Date" label to jump back to the current date on the calendar.
The below screen image shows what the schedule information dialog window looks like
when you double click on any schedule entry.
In addition to a calendar and schedule facility, the Schedule section also features a
simple "To Do" list in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. This list is maintained
on the local machine and cannot be shared amongst users as can the schedule entries.
Once the to do items are checked (by clicking on the item itself), it will be removed from
the list the next time you start OfficeX.
